🧬 Gene's weekly 🧬 - #46 : Apple to enter AR/VR
Every week I bring you awesome startup Tweets that you probably missed. Check it out 👇
✨ 1: GPT-4 next year? 🤯
Disruption is coming.
GPT-4 is better than anyone expects.
And it is one of several such AIs that will ship next year.
This person seems to be connected to the industry and has sources saying GPT-4 will blow everyone’s mind. Such hype… much torture! But seriously, cannot wait!
✨ 2: Kind of a brilliant content strategy 🤔
Here's a simple framework that @thesamparr uses daily to create catchy content:
• Find a subreddit for your keyword
• Select top posts this week
• Open questions that sound relevant (it's the problem)
• Read top comments (it's the solution)
Under the radar tweet sharing a brilliant content strategy…
You can also target high purchase intent keywords (my new thread 🧵).
✨ 3: Move fast! 🏎
Speed is the #1 advantage for new startups / indie founders.
✨ 4: Apple is entering the AR/VR space
What we know so far about Apple’s VR/AR plans and headsets (THREAD). More than summarize facts, my aim is to paint a picture of what Apple’s platform may be, from perspective of an industry veteran with +10 year experience and a successful VR/AR company focused on innovation.
Everyone mocked Zuckerberg for pivoting to AR/VR, but I think it is a genius move. Ready Player One is totally the future. Apple knows this.
✨ 5: Focus
One of the most common mistakes I see early stage founders make is doing way too much, way too early.
Start with 1 business with 1 core feature for 1 demographic.
You don’t need to start with an all-in-one platform for everyone and likely won’t get far if you try.
Struggling with this myself 😭. I have no idea who Scribbble is for 🤷♂️ I use it daily though! We have a few paying customers now, both seem to be devs.
✨ 6: Official by Twitter
😂
Thank you for reading 🙏
Let me know what you think of this issue 💬
Have an awesome week! ☕🛋️
